"Annoyingly I write best early on and later on in the day. When writing Lizzie Siddal, I would try to start at 7am, take a break around 11am for an hour, go back to it, then take another break between 2pm-4pm (my worst time of day for being creative). I would then get back to it and keep going as late as possible. For the last four months of writing it, my social life was pitiful."
